Job Description

The Inventory Manager will be responsible for all aspects of warehouse inventory operations in a high volume environment. This will involve managing resources, processes, procedures and employee behavior.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication, organizational, multi-tasking and problem-solving skills. An aptitude to function within deadlines while working both independently and as a part of a team is essential.

This position will report to the Director of Distribution within the Distribution department.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

? Manage the entire process and procedures as well as the employee performance on the warehouse floor to ensure the expectations are met in regards to safety and efficiencies within the department.
? Ensure all quality and productivity standards are met while adjusting and updating processes and procedures according to the business needs with guidance from Executive Management.
? Manage and execute planning in space, equipment and labor (both regular and temporary work force).
? Assist and monitor special projects in relation to the distribution and warehouse activities.
? Coordinate all warehouse activities in achieving goals and expectations of other departments.
? Implement new procedures, software, and technologies in order to increase efficiencies.
? Develop operational policies designed to ensure timely product delivery to customers.
? Plan for manpower requisitions, hire qualified personnel, conducts employee reviews.
? Use analysis and reporting to provide direction on implementing resolutions to any supply chain opportunities.
? Perform other assigned projects and functions as directed by management.

Minimum Qualifications
? Bachelor's Degree in Operations Management or equivalent combination of education and experience.
? Minimum 3-5 years' experience in inventory control management knowledge.
? Excellent verbal and written communication, organizational, multi-tasking, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
? Possesses a proven track record of warehouse operations leadership within a high volume/seasonal business environment.
? Proficiency with Outlook; proficiency in Excel is absolutely necessary.
? History of strong leadership and communication skills.
? Ability to independently organize and prioritize workload within a fast paced environment to meet deadlines.
? Motivated, self-starter, organized, and effective communicator.
? Proven capabilities in applying drive and initiative into projects.
