Inventory PMO Director
Responsibilities:The Director of PMO is designed to oversee and manage the implementation of the PMO within Inventory Management ofthe Supply Chain Organization. This position will lead a small Project Management team with the focus on the management of several Supply Chain initatives. This position is accountable for all projects (inception to completion) through the development of a disciplined project management methodology and process to manage business process improvement and financial performance of initiatives for the Supply Chain Organization. Advance technical and engineering knowledge and skill required as this role will interface with organization outsides of the Supply Chain Organization as well as have the ability to influence decisions outside reporting structure. As the success of the initiatives requires the delivery of process improvements, the PMO role will have a broad business impact across the organization. Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Sciences, Supply Chain or related discipline required. More than 10 years of experience required. Other Information:This role requires an individual with a technical background and Project Management experience within a Supply Chain environment. Proven large scale, cross-functional and high dollar project successes. They must possess a high level of expertise in cost optimization, project management, team management, process improvement, business development, strategic planning, negotiation, contract management, Finance, strong business acumen, external resource management, ROI analysis and ability to evaluate IT systems. Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification, Experience with LEAN, Six Sigma or related process methodologies desired.Requires excellent computer application skills including MS Office, MS Project and Oracle based applications. Large scale, cross functional and high dollar project management. Ability to manage a team managing complex projects to completion. Superior communication, verbal, written presentation skills. Successfully manages and navigates across organizational boundaries. Successful in managing diverse skill sets. Ability to take a business issue/opportunity and develop appropriate, creative approaches.
