THIS POSITION IS ON CALL. INVESTIGATORS WILL BE CALLED FOR THE AREA THAT THEY SPECIALIZE IN. A THOROUGH DUE DILIGENCE INVESTIGATION WILL BE CONDUCTED ON CANDIDATES. APPLICANTS WITH NO INVESTIGATIVE EXPERIENCE NEED NOT APPLY.Simon SIU, a division of Simon Protection Group specializes in litigation, due diligence, backgrounds, criminal and civil investigations, corporate, stalker investigations, threats against life, work place violence, threat assessments, undercover investigations, and more. JOB SUMMARY: This opening is for on-call position. Candidates must be able to obtain or possess a Nevada PILB Guard Card prior to starting employment. Simon Special Investigations Unit Investigator will conduct SPG client investigations and covert operations related to a variety of areas. He/she will assist in covert investigations, state and nationwide.KEY JOB FUNCTIONS:Conducts investigations, interviews, and reports related to sameConducts covert investigations involving employees, vendors/suppliers, and others as requiredConducts surveillance of undercover operations and surveillance of individuals and businessesConducts internal investigations related to alleged violations of client s policies and proceduresConducts investigations and gathers intelligence for the purpose of detecting unlawful conduct and/or violations of federal, state, local or gaming statutes, by the client s employees or othersPrepares detailed written reportsAssists in liaison with federal, state, and local law enforcement or regulatory agencies, and counterparts of outside organizations for assistance on related investigationsAbility to testify in legal hearings, to include labor, civil and criminal proceedings as needed EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:Minimum two years of experience in an investigative field that includes interview skills, report writing and computer skills. QUALIFICATIONS:Ability to read, analyze, and interpret gaming statutes, rules, and regulations.Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.Proficient in Microsoft Office programs. (Excel, Word, etc.)Ability to uphold and demonstrate the highest level of integrity in all situations and recognize standards required by a regulated business.Strong attention to detail and focus on work accuracy.Demonstrates initiative and accountability. As a part of Simon Protection s employment process, finalist candidates will be required to complete a drug test and background check prior to an offer being extended.
