SUMMARY: The Island Adventures Attendant will provide efficient and friendly service to guests including but not limited to coordinating guest activities which will create fond island memories. Heshe will develop, organize and maintain up-to-date information and relationships as they pertain to resort activities, excursions and contracted excursion companies. The Island Adventures Attendant will also work closely with the resort buyerretail manager to ensure merchandise sales, displays and inventory. This position also includes support in recreation activities and functions as assigned by recreation manager.

The Island Adventures Attendant shall strive to provide exceptional service to both internal and external guests at all times. She will be responsible for exemplifying the Wild Dunes Resort Culture as well as promoting Wild Dunes Resort as both the Destination and Employer of Choice!

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Must be an ambassador our resources and be available to answer all guest questions
Act as a central source of information, providing it to inquiring guests and arranging activities and excursions for guests with resort designated departments and outside companies. This knowledge must extend from resort to local attractions and directions. One must have a strong knowledge of the City of Charleston and surrounding areas.
Help train store support staff
Acting in accordance with the resorts credit and cash handling procedures
Assist guests with resolving any challenges to ensure a memorable experience
Interacts with resort s other departments to ensure that good channels of communication are maintained
Answering the phone positively and with professional phone etiquette.
Assist with receiving and resale of merchandise.
Understand point of sale system.
Be accountable for bank and daily cash drop
Receive, tag and assist Manager in displaying merchandise.
Assist in daily, weekly and monthly inventories
Absolute respect for guest property should always be exercised.
Offers warm and sincere welcomefarewell for all guests of Wild Dunes Resort including use of guest name & good eye contact with each guest
Maintains an up to date working knowledge of all resort amenities as well as any special events
Interacts with resort staff in a professional manner, assisting other departments with necessary information
Up sells other resort services and amenities to guests
Always maintains a professional demeanor and attitude
Reports to work on time and according to posted schedule
Maintains a professional appearance. Follows all Wild Dunes Resort dress code standards.
