J2EE Technical Lead Project Manager

Description Project Manager/Lead with strong experience in planning, managing and delivering high-profile projects in the financial sector and solid hands-on experience across a broad spectrum of Java/J2EE technologies, database technologies
Key Responsibilities Direct and manage project development, define project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders. Provide technical leadership, direction and architectural guidelines; ensuring adherence to established policies and best practices. Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents. Monitoring and manage project timelines and escalate risks. Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.
Must Have Overall 10+ years of Java/J2EE based IT experience. 5+ years direct work experience in project management capacity including all aspects of process development and execution. 5+ years of hands-on experience (Not a Coding role, but must be technical). With major Java/J2EE technologies like Websphere/Weblogic, Spring, Hibernate, etc and major Internet/web technologies. Expert at applying well known design and architecture patterns to application development.Strong oral and written communication skills with ability to communicate effectively to end-users as well as senior management. Strong familiarity with project management tools like MS Project.
Strong analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills. Bachelors or Masters in CS, IT or a related field.
