Java Architect

Global Networkers has an outstanding Contract opportunity for a JAVA Architect for its client, a major financial institution in Charlotte, NC. The JAVA Architect is responsible for developing and maintaining multiple tools within the institutions tool development group. The JAVA Architect will design, build and architect web-based tools for use within the ecommerce and retail sites. The JAVA Architect provides support for all technical issues with design of the tool. The JAVA Architect should be extremely versed in JAVA/J2EE architecture, design patterns and agile methodologies. The successful Architect should be strong problem solver, be able to work independently, as well assist the other development teams in technical analysis and guidanceThe successful candidate must be able to communicate effectively and propose new solutions to technical issues within the design of applications. The candidate should be comfortable working in a fast paced environment that requires team interaction and coordination of efforts.

Requirements

-minimum of 8 ? 10 years of development experience in Java related technologies
Java/J2EE Technology (Must have)Java Script (Must Have)Spring Framework
(Must Have)Web services DB2 backgroundAJAX-Google Web Toolkit (GWT) is
highly desirable -Should be able to learn the new technologies, tools and
jump into development for agile projects-Optimizing and enhancing systems
with high-volume data logging and processing needs, and high performance
requirements-Performance and scalability testing, analysis, and capacity
planning-Relational databases, JDBC, Hibernate
