Java Developer, Active Secret DOD Security Clearance Needed - ReqCode 544210-MSD

NCI: As the Java Developer TS/SCI at Fort Meade, MD, you will have the opportunity to support the Army customer by resolving any Information Technology issues as they arise.

Highlights of Responsibilities:

* Develop applications utilizing Java, Swing, HTML, JavaScript, Java Servlets, Oracle PL/SQL, XML/XSLT, and meeting the performance, usability, reliability and scalability requirements.
* Translate business requirements into implementation processes, and detail design documents.
* Participate in the functional definition of a system. * Define development strategy, standards, and support tools. * Write source code, enhance existing functions, and test developed components as units with test stubs and test data.
* Collaborate on application architecture and design.
* Successfully manage workload of multiple projects simultaneously from the ground level up.
Requirements:

* 5+ years professional development experience with database-backed web applications
* Experienced in developing Java Swing user interface
* Experienced in developing client server applications using Java Servlets
* Experienced in creating web pages using HTML, CSS, JavaScript / dynamic HTML
* Experienced in writing Oracle PL/SQL
* Experience with XML/XSLT
* Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux and Windows Server platforms
* Experience with Unix shell scripting and Unix tools
* Experience with MSDOS batch scripting
* Experience with HTTP and HTTPS protocol
* Experienced in Oracle database administration and data modeling
* Experienced in user interface design and software usability issues
* Ability to master any new technology, language, or development environment
* Excellent command of written and spoken English
* An Active DOD Secret security clearance
Preferred Education and Experience:
* 3D graphical development
* BS in Computer Science or higher education
* Experience with IT support and Data Center operations
