Job Description: The Software Architect will be a lead contributor to the architecture of the TrueVUE platform. The architect will work on multiple areas within the platform, including the client, mobile and server-side. The architect will work with the Product Management team to understand the requirements for new features and enhancements to the product and translate the requirements to system architecture and design.

Job Responsibilities:
Take ownership of the architecture of the platform.
Take ownership for the strategic architecture direction for the platform.
. Take ownership for the design of sub components of the system.
. Ensure the alignment of detailed designs with the enterprise architecture.
. Evaluate and incorporate newer technologies into the platform.
. Develop the design for new features and enhancements to the platform.
Develop Proof of Concept for new features and new technologies.


Must have experience architecting and building enterprise class high volume transactional systems that scale horizontally.
Must have experience with cloud technologies, Big Data and NoSQL databases.
Must have recent coding experience to be able to contribute to the development effort as needed.


* Bachelor's degree (or better) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or another related field from an accredited 4 year university.

* 8 years of experience developing commercial enterprise software solutions
