JOB DESCRIPTIONClient is hiring a Technical Support Engineer to engage customers, gather information on tickets, escalate to R&D as needed, as well as provide workarounds for issues to customers. This position works out of the Irvine, CA office.
WE ARE SEEKING:
* Knowledge of software support processes and procedure.
* Good java skills - development or consultant experience.(like J2ee, Spring, Hibernate, MVC, Struts, JMS, JDBC, IDE etc)
* Good knowledge of Eclipse.
* Ability to manage pressure and customer expectations.
* Good written/spoken English.
* Keep up a good communication with customers and with internal departments (R&D, QA, Sales).
* Good teamwork skills.
* Good working knowledge of different operating systems (Unix, Windows).
