The Asset Management Group is responsible for the management of the $6+ BILLION PORTFOLIO of assets on behalf of SolarCity s investment funds. The objectives of the group are to deploy and manage assets in accordance with investor and operational needs.
SolarCity is looking for a Jr. Accounts Receivable Analyst who will record payments received to customers accounts on a timely manner to assure proper valuation of receivables portfolio. S/he will follow ups on discrepancies encountered by analyzing transactions or contacting the customer directly. S/he will manage relationships with internal stakeholders and must be able to identify potential discrepancies and lead to resolution. Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to assisting with accounting closing functions, bank accounts reconciliations and adhoc analysis.
Process payments received to customers accounts
Maintain accurate accounts receivable customer files and records
Investigate and resolve customer queries, process adjustment to customers accounts as needed
Reconciliation of payments applied to cash receipts
Bachelor s degree in Accounting from an academically strong institution preferred
1-2 years experience in accounts receivable or collections preferred
SQL ability a plus
Expertise MS Office, with ability to learn new software/tools with minimal supervision
Detail-oriented, organized, resourceful and able to manage shifting priorities
Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
Ability to positively and effectively interact with internal and external customers
Regular, reliable and predictable performance required
Ability to work well with others in a collaborative team environment
Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment criminal screen. Additional pre-employment driving and drug screens may be required based on job responsibilities
