Job Description

Jr. Program Control Analyst

The Jr. Program Control Analyst provides key contract management support to Program/Project managers and customers, including contract performance measures, contract compliance, and cost analysis and reporting. The Jr. Program Control Analyst will ultimately be the liaison between their assigned Project Manager(s) and the Corporate Support departments, such as, Contracts and Accounting.

-Develop monthly project cost budgets and forecasts
-Analyze and track budgeted, forecasted, and actual costs
-Develop project EACs based on project management information
-Monitor and report contract value and funding status
-Report incurred costs and billings compared to contract value and funding
-Detailed analysis explaining multiple variances
-Develop reports for program management and customers
-Prepare program status review documents
-Monitor program expenditures to ensure correct coding
-Work with program staff to establish and monitor performance metrics
-Review and approve Purchas Requisitions
-Participate in the development of any modifcations to contract
-Ensure compliance with the financial terms and conditions of the contract, as well as corporate internal controls
-Flexibility to provide ad-hoc reporting and project status
-Support contract transition activities

REQUIREMENTS:
-Must have a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
-Must have at least 1-2 years experience in program control
-Proficiency with MS Office; Excel Skills are a must
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills
-Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
-Strong analytical and follow through skills
-Detail oriented, highly organized, with the ability to handle multiple tasks
-Ability to interact with various levels of management and corporate support organizations
-Exhibits technical and operational proficiency in financial aspects of contract management.
-Must be able to obtain a Secret security clearance to continue employment.
-Must be able to successfully complete/pass a CGI background investigation to start employment.

DESIRED Education, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

-Accounting Systems experience; CostPoint, SharePoint, Cognos
-Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or Accounting
