Seeking a Jr. Software Developer to perform work for the Software Innovation and Development Lab, a component of the Institute for Information Technology Applications (IITA), operating in Colorado Springs, CO. This company is a growing provider of research, engineering, development, operations, financial and management expertise across an array of federal government organizations such as the Department of Defense, NASA, Department of Interior, and the Department of Transportation. Duties and Responsibilities:
? Develop new code to interface with the Joint Mission Planning System (JMPS) and prototype software to demonstrate the capability of the OMS XML structure.
? Provide assistance in support of research on Open Mission Systems (OMS) Extensible Markup Language (XML) structure in relation to mission planning formats.
? Provide assistance in software development and analysis of code written by outside agencies to include current products.
? Work with all mission planning points of contact to support integration of software R&D efforts.
Requirements:
? 2+ years software development experience highly desired.
? Experience in Microsoft .NET technologies.
? Knowledge of C++, experience is desired.
? Knowledge in JAVA development, experience is desired.
? Knowledge of Publish/Subscribe patterns and Service Oriented Architecture (SOA).
? Ability/eligibility to secure an active security clearance (Secret or higher).
? Applicable Associates Degree from an accredited college degree required with a Bachor's highly desired.
? Microsoft Office Suite proficiency.
? May work remotely from home.
