Researching, collecting, reviewing, and analyzing logistics data from various sources.
Tracking material harvesting, repair, and availability.
Creating, maintaining, and updating logistics databases and spreadsheets.
Generating various logistics data, and maintaining records and documentation.
Preparing reports and briefings as required.
Making recommendations to management to improve organizational logistics performance.
Identifying and resolving moderately complex problems and anticipating potential future issues.
Acting as a Subject Matter Expert and mentor/advocate for LCM processes and standardizing ILS team interactions with these functions.
Ensuring compliance with NAVSEA internal policies and procedures, as well as Quality Assurance and security requirements.
Establishing and maintaining effective relationships with internal departments, the customer, and stakeholders in support of Logistics Management.
Performing additional duties as assigned.
Education, Work Experience, Skills and Clearance Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in related discipline and at least two (2) years of relevant experience, preferably in a government logistics or support environment. Educational requirements and work experience may be adjusted for highly specialized knowledge or uniquely applicable experience.
Proficiency in MS Office products.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
Strong customer service orientation.
Secret security clearance verifiable in JPAS.
Experience with Life Cycle Management (LCM) processes and Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) elements.
*The ideal candidate is a recent college graduate with some government support experience eager to develop expertise in Life Cycle Management (LCM) and Integrated Logistics Support (ILS). This is a wide career field encompassing Supply Support, Support Equipment, Technical Data management, Maintenance Planning, Manpower and Personnel, Training and Training Support, Facilities, PHST, and Design Influence/Interface and affords excellent customer exposure and upward mobility within government support. Previous knowledge in these areas is preferred, but a willingness to learn is more important.
