Concentric Methods is seeking applications from
candidates who are interested in an exciting new
opportunity to work with USAID's Bureau for Management
in the Office of Management Policy, Budget and
Performance. The performance division is responsible for
developing policies and guidance on management
performance; providing guidance and services related to
open data, data visualization and integration; providing
technical assistance to strengthen operational capacity;
and overseeing Agency compliance with monitoring and
reporting of the Office of Management and Budget
management initiatives, the Government Performance and
Results Act Modernization Act (GPRAMA) mandates, and
increase transparency. USAID s operations performance is
fundamental to the Agency s ability to achieve its
mission to partner to end extreme poverty and promote
resilient, democratic societies while advancing our
security and prosperity.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Assist in collecting and analyzing program and
management performance data to identify trends, issues,
problems and enhance transparency of USAID operations
and development results;
Assist senior specialists in conducting special studies
or research projects related to specific operations
goals and issues;
Support planning, developing and conducting internal
reviews/studies of operations management functions
and/or programs with technically complex
Assist in planning, scheduling and conducting analysis
of project operations, procedures, and organizational
structures, identifying problems or deficiencies and
recommending ways to improve the effectiveness and
efficiency of management operations;
Support and coordinate responses to Executive Orders and
Office of Management and Budget directives;
Produce and/or present information and findings in a
variety of formats (e.g. articles, papers, studies,
briefings, other media, etc); and
Other operational performance management tasks as
Work Environment
Work will be performed 40 hours per week during normal
business hours, Monday through Friday, excluding Federal
holidays. Start time is between 8:00 AM - 9:00 AM. End
time is between 5:00 PM and 6:00 PM. Thirty (30) minutes
- 1 hour lunch, between 11:30 AM and 2:00 PM. Overtime
is not authorized.
The work environment involves everyday risks or
discomforts that require normal safety precautions
typical of such places as offices, meeting rooms,
training rooms, etc. The work area is adequately
lighted, heated, and ventilated.
Education and/or Experience
The candidate must have at least a Bachelor's Degree in
Business, Policy or a related field, or a Master's
Must have at least one to three years of specialized
experience, assisting in; reviewing, analyzing,
evaluating various operational management plans,
policies, directives, procedures, systems, etc. to
assess organizational impact; applying analytical and
evaluative methods to measure quality and efficiency to
promote improvements to agency operations; and preparing
various reports and information on metrics and trends
for various management operations
Current Secret clearance
Ability to work under deadline pressure, handle stress
and deliver professional results
Experience with statistical or publishing software is
Must have the authorization to work in the United States
