The scope includes project management, discovery, planning, infrastructure build-out, including networks, migrations and eventual site decommissioning to move application workload from 2 data centers that will be closed into strategic go-forward data centers. In addition to migrating out of the closing data centers, the client is moving to a converged infrastructure, and the peer/sister environments for the impacted applications will need to be addressed as well. We estimate that the migrations/remediation will impact over 5000 servers, 400 applications, and 2000 environments
The Juniper Firewall Migration Technology Consultant will be aligned with Workstream 1 or the IDCIN Expansion (Inter Data Center Interconnectivity Network), WAN Build, & Firewall Upgrades: Programmatically lead all activities from planning through and including deployment activities associated with Workstream-1 and its respective sub-streams.
Activities requiring management include but are not limited to: validation of High-level Design, completion of Low-level Designs, creation of implementation Method of Procedures (aka MoPs), creation of Cross-connect schedules for Facilities, creation of failure mode test cases, creation of Change Event. Individual will also be responsible for the management of any T-minus/T-plus activities necessary in order to complete a work item (e.g., updates to monitoring tools, updates to inventory systems, updates to CMDB, etc.)

Tier-2 FW Upgrades 10G to 40G: Juniper FW Migration
Experience working within a large infrastructure migration project
Strong communication and customer facing skills
