Requirements:

Justice Protective Service Officer ( Armed ) in the Washington, D.C. area

Qualifications:

-Must be 21 years of age or older
-Must be a U.S. Citizen
-Must possess a high school diploma or GED (online diplomas will not be accepted)
-**Must have graduated from a certified U.S. civilian police academy, a U.S. military police
academy or have employment history as a Federal or State Corrections Officer with full arrest authority with 18 months career total law enforcement experience**
-Must meet and maintain contract physical fitness requirements
-Must successfully pass a physical examination to include a drug screen
-Must successfully pass a criminal and credit background investigation to include previous employment and personal references
