General Function:The purpose of the Key Account Director-Retail to assure that existing clients are satisfied with Pomeroy services and that our relationship with them is referential and to assure profitable maintenance and growth of service revenue and gross margin in assigned clients.Essential Duties & Responsibilities:The duties listed below are intended only as illustrations of the various types of work that may be performed. Composes Statements of Work and other applicable documentation to assure detailed and accurate deliverables by specifying the processes, technologies, costs, staff, and project management assets required for successful implementation of proposed service solutions. Works effectively with Pomeroy technical subject matter experts in this process. Assures qualitative satisfaction in the development of project documentation including project plans, timelines, work effort estimates, design specifications, technical manuals, and support manuals when project resources are engaged with an assigned client. Manages the P&L of all assigned client engagements to ensure budget compliance and overall profitability. Assesses client satisfaction levels and performs ongoing quality assurance measures. Focuses on strategic business opportunities to increase service revenue streams. Keeps abreast of new developments in the project management, quality assurance and technology fields and applies these as needed to improve Pomeroy service and solution offerings. Works with the Service Development LOB to identify and develop new and/or improved service solution sets Plans, organizes and conducts detailed analytical studies of clients in order to define problems, identify deficiencies and improve processes which will impact the client s IT efficiency and effectiveness resulting in cost reduction or cost avoidance. Works on special projects as assigned (sometimes with minimal notice). Engages with senior level stakeholders within Pomeroy to advance complex services opportunities, review areas of risk, and risk mitigation strategies consistent with defined Deal Approval Guidelines` (see Deal Approval Matrix). Gains insider status to influence the client s buying processes, primarily targeting senior management and the individuals on their staff that influence their decision-making. Constructs risk assessments and corresponding remediation plans relative to complex services situations and opportunities. Performs other duties as assigned and accepts that these other, to-be-defined, duties may represent substantial components of this position.Supervisory Responsibilities: Must have excellent presentation skills and ability to lead client meetings involving all levels of both client s and Pomeroy s management. Demonstrates excellent time management, decision making, human relations, and organizational skills.Minimum Knowledge, Skills and Abilities required: Bachelor's degree in business, engineering or computer science a requirement. Ideal candidate requires Minimum of five (5) to eight (8) years of technical support experience with three (3) to five (5) years in a supervisory or senior-level role.
