Job Summary

Pentair is currently seeking a Key Account Manager responsible for developing and executing sales plans and account strategies to drive revenue growth and profit for assigned North American Foodservice accounts. Interested candidates, who meet the requirements below, are encouraged to apply today!
Duties and Responsibilities:
Achieves sales quota with assigned accounts.
Establishes annual account plans (sales objectives, tactics, responsibility and timing).
Understands customer organizations business, hierarchy, and needs.
Maintain excellent communications externally and internally including regular sales and monthly reports.
Works to help customers solve business issues utilizing product and channel solutions.
Develops and maintains a strong relationship built on mutual trust, respect and cooperation with direct customers and channel partners.
Coordinates sales activities and communicates customer product requirements with other departments such as marketing, manufacturing, engineering, and materials.
Monitors/disseminates competitor information and takes appropriate competitive action.
Leads and supports global account coordination, when applicable.
Works to sell Total Water Management solutions via direct and existing channels of distribution when applicable.
Participates as a cross-functional team member for Total Water Management projects including contract negotiations, project/program quotes, SLA s and ISP support.
Provides Market feedback to Product Managers and Sales Leaders about competition, customer issues, and trends.
Represent the company at trade shows.

Job Requirements & Skills

Bachelor's Degree (B.A., B.S.) or equivalent
5+ years of experience working with strategic accounts
Specific Skills: MS Office Suite, CRM, PeopleSoft, and a plus
Willingness to travel up to 50% to domestic and international client locations
Specialized Knowledge, Licenses, etc.: CFSP, CWS or WQA certified a plus
Builds a sense of shared purpose and vision
Builds and sustains relationships
Inspires trust and open communication
Clearly expresses oneself orally and in writing
Effectively negotiates when necessary
Formal presentation skills
Acts with integrity
