Upper East Side catering company seeking a dynamic Kitchen Administrator to manage and perform kitchen administrative duties and assist the Executive Chef with daily tasks relative to onsite catered events. Position Summary: Kitchen Administrator reports directly to the Executive Chef and is responsible for all kitchen related administrative duties and day-to-day ad hoc tasks. The Kitchen Administrator will work closely with the Purchasing Manager and receivers to ensure efficiency in procurement and effective communication of any product issues. He or she will also be responsible for providing a source of inter-departmental communication, relaying any event information to the kitchen department, and maintaining the Executive Chefs calendars. Must be an excellent communicator and possess superior organizational abilities.
