Job Description The Kitchen Supervisor train, supervises, and work with our cooks and culinary staff in order to prepare quality comfort food which give our guests a warm and all-American dining experience in the Kitchen Table restaurant. The Kitchen Supervisor responsibilities include assign, in detail specific duties to all culinary staff for efficient operation of the kitchen, read and employ math skills for following recipes. Schedule culinary staff so that proper coverage is maintained while keeping payroll costs in line, ensures proper receiving, storage and rotation of food products so as to comply with health department regulations. Cleanliness of the food service area and equipment is extremely important in this position. In addition, handle various kitchen appliances including slicers, buffalo choppers, grinders, and mixers. Requirements To join our Culinary team as a Kitchen Supervisor you must have a high school diploma or equivalent education. Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand the English language. One to two years previous experience working in a high volume restaurant kitchen is necessary. Must have good communication skills and be a team player in order to successfully coordinate with other team members in carrying out each culinary experience.
