AEgis is seeking highly qualified Knowledge Management Specialist to support the Air Force Space and Missile Systems Center (SMC) Advanced Systems directorate. Duties involve developing and sustaining a collaborative, integrated knowledge management environment which leverages existing web-based technologies such as SharePoint and Wikis to provide quick and easy access to organizational information owners and customers in providing timely updates, ensuring information accuracy and customizing data views.

Success Factors (Success factors are simply the results we want this person to deliver, in order for us to consider this person a successful hire):

30 days: Candidate will successfully in process accomplishing all security-related activities resulting in access to appropriate Government computer systems.

60 days: Candidate will review and demonstrate understanding of policies and procedures used to administer the knowledge management system.

90 days: Candidate will demonstrate ability to respond to information owners and customers requests.


Candidate will have a minimum of a Masters degree and 5 years experience in knowledge management to include information technology and its policy; database, records and information management; and security policy and procedures. Candidate must be a US citizen with ability to obtain a US Top Secret/SCI Clearance. Current SSBI highly desirable. Detail oriented with strong analytical skills; detailed knowledge of AF Space and Missiles Center (SMC) processes, organizations, and missions. Extremely organized. Strong multi-tasking and time-management skills. Demonstrated ability to be part of a cohesive team and deliver the highest quality service. Can handle sensitive information with the highest degree of integrity and confidentiality
