JOB DESCRIPTION

This Position Reports to (title): IT Technology Manager
Pay Range: $23-$25/hr DOE
Location: Oak Brook, Illinois 60523
Employment Status: 6-month Contract to Hire

In this role, you will provide phone / remote support (50%) to users in other offices national wide and also desk-side support (50%) to C-level and management-level end users in headquarter. This position is highly focused on excellent customer service .

Principal Responsibilities:

? Responsible for overall help desk and desktop support of local and remote systems
? Responsible for troubleshooting and resolving hardware and network issues
? Responsible for completing and filing systems-related documentation
? Must maintain a broad knowledge of state-of-the-art technology, equipment, and/or systems

Daily / Periodic Tasks:

? Provide Level 2 support for corporate networks, systems, and applications
? Participate in after hours? on-call rotation
? Provide phone support for remote users and staff in remote offices


Key Competencies:

? Tech support in fast-paced enterprise environment.
? Proficient with phone support and remote support handling high-volume user inquires.
? Troubleshooting MS Office Suite 2010/2013 especially Outlook.
? Experiences of imaging and reimaging PC and Windows 7.
? Experience in Microsoft OS.
? Knowledge of network support.
? Data entry, quick learner, Attention to detail, strong communication skills,

Required Skill Set:

** Proficient with MS Office and Microsoft Workstation operating systems as well as Windows W2K/W2K3 domains.
** Minimum 3 years of Help Desk / Desktop Support experience in computer/network support in a Microsoft environment.
** Knowledge of current technological developments/trends.
** Strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community.
** Ability to interpret, adapt, document and apply guidelines and procedures.
