Our Capitol Hill Medical Center Dermatology Clinic is looking for a LPN who is able to partner with the Physician-RN-LPN healthcare team. Telephone management skills and familiarity with electronic Medical Records(EMR) are essential.

Our ideal candidate will have experience working in a fast paced dermatology practice. Skills in assisting with procedures , patient call backs and teaching are essential.

This position is per diem but will be full-time while covering for leaves. Subsequently, will only be per diem status.

General Summary:
The Dermatology Specialty Services LPN's work in an ambulatory clinic preparing for patient visits and assist with Dermatologic surgeries. The clinic role is to anticipate, prepare for and manage patients scheduled for a visit with the specialty provider; triage and manage phone calls and secure messages; perform routine and complex procedures; and provide patient instruction
Experience Requirements
Preferred: 1-2 years experience in ambulatory care; dermatology experience desirable.

Education Requirements
Minimum: Graduate of accredited LPN program. Preferred: Associates degree

Certification Requirements
Minimum: Current Washington State LPN license.

Essential skills:

* Exceptional level of easily understood verbal communications on the phone.

* Shows good judgement and assessment.

* Demonstrates skills in effectively collaborating with care team members, using effective written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.

* Ability to work efficiently with EMR.
