Facility: Mercy Medical Center - Clinton at Clinton
Department: MLC - South

The R.N. assumes responsibility/accountability for a group of residents/patients for a designated time frame and provides care to these residents/patients via therapeutic use of self, the nursing process, the environment and other health care team members. Supports, facilitates and participates in the elder-focused social model of care. Ages served are adult to geriatric. QUALIFICATIONS 1. Active registration for Registered Nurse - Board of Nursing, State of Iowa. 2. Gerontological or dementia experience preferred. 3. Must be BLS certified within 3 months of hire. 4. Must be able to demonstrate basic computer skills in a Windows environment. 5. Must possess excellent organizational and communication skills. 6. Must be capable of problem solving, critical thinking, and assessment of resident/patient conditions in the geriatric and/or dementia setting. 7. Must be comfortable operating in a collaborative, shared leadership environment. 8. Must possess a personal presence that is characterized by a sense of honesty, integrity, and caring with the ability to inspire and motivate others to promote the philosophy, mission and vision, goals, and values of Trinity Health. Full Time Varies RN Required
