Lab Manager

Reporting to the QC Associate Director the Lab Manager will be responsible for the opera-tions of the QC and R&D Labs, assuring that all lab operations are performed in compli-ance with NVS corporate policies, regulatory agency and HSE requirements. In collaboration with QC Associate Director, department functional Directors and laboratory & instrument owners develops, implements and ensure maintenance of the compliance activities of quality control and data acquisition systems. As the Pharmaceutical Development department training coordinator, supports individual training requirement initiatives and compliance thereof. As lab manager responsible for facilitating communication between Lab personnel and facilities and engineering to maintain lab functionality, enhance capability and improvement of their utilization & efficiency. Supports compliance of lab HSE requirements and initiatives. With QC managers develops QC tracking systems for testing, raw material disposition, lab investigations tests, and audit preparedness. This job contributes to and supports the company s research, and development efforts to create high value therapeutics to address unmet medical needs.
