Do you have a passion for landscaping? Do you find the idea of working outside appealing? Does the thought of beautifying a Five-Star resort motivate you? Then the position of Landscape Technician is for you!
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, leading in the development and implementation of year round landscape programs that consist of installation, maintenance and follow up care, as well as the logistics involved with completing these projects. This position requires the performance of manual labor to support the proper care and appearance of assigned work areas. Landscape Technicians must have the ability to operate the tools, materials and equipment within the department.
* Ability to take the initiative and think strategically
* Candidates must have, or be able to attain, a valid driver's license
* The ability to walk or stand for the majority of each shift, as well as lift or move up to 50 pounds
* May be regularly exposed to outside weather conditions
* Wisconsin State Pesticide 3.0 Certification is required, or ability to acquire within 6 months
* A Degree in Horticulture, Turf Management or related field is preferred or three years of experience
