The Lead AV Specialist has a passion for ensuring successful deployment of high quality, reliable AV solutions in a business setting and is responsible for the setup, support and operation of all audio visual systems within Cirrus Logic. Provide excellent customer support by responding to AV related tasks (assigned in a variety of ways) and be responsible for solving issues in a timely manner with a very high level of customer care.


* Provide 1st line support to the business for AV setup

* Build relationships with our business administrators and understand the importance of significant meetings the importance of AV in them

* Respond to requests for technical assistance in person, via phone and electronically

* Give end users a predictable, caring connection with the Technical Services Team

* Appropriately manage expectations with our customer by setting reasonable deadlines

* Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues

* Research questions using available information resources

* Redirect problems to appropriate resource or escalate situations requiring urgent attention

* Stay current with technology and associated changes/updates

* Follow existing policies and procedures; update as necessary

* Maintain internal FAQ/KB articles

Required Skills and Qualifications

* Excellent customer care with a delight the customer mentality

* Ability to give customers a soft landing place; you should love to talk to people/help people in need

* Strong people skills with a knack for problem solving

* Ability to maintain composure and focus while troubleshooting / keep calm under pressure

* Working knowledge of Polycom video conferencing systems

* Basic knowledge of networking (IP addressing, switches etc)

* 2+ years of experience using Microsoft Lync (Skype for Business)

* 2+ years of experience with Creston room control systems

* 2+ years of experience in supporting AV in a corporate environment

* 2+ years of experience running live sound for musical artists

* Experience in the following audio solutions: House Sound, Wireless Microphones; Power Speakers; Digital Audio Recording; Large Venue/Concert Sound Reinforcement Systems; 4 -24 Channel Mixers; Audio Processing EQ, Compression; Overall Signal Flow

* Experience in the following video solutions: Crestron DigitalMedia Systems; Flat panel displays; Digital video playback/recording systems; Switching Systems; Wireless presentation; Set up of broadcast cameras; Event Projectors; Overall Signal Flow

* Flexible working schedule to allow for [infrequent] early morning or late afternoon AV setups

* Ability to work in a team environment and also independently with minimal supervision

* Strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills

* Ability to program Crestron control systems
