ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT
The Client & Patient Services organization is responsible for ensuring high-quality service delivery to Express Scripts members and clients in a cost-efficient manner. Patient Services provides mail pharmacy services, addresses members inquiries and provides value-added consultation. In addition this organization includes Client Services, which encompasses client and benefit administration, quality control, implementation, client support center (CSC), participant materials, clinical operations and eligibility. In addition, Client & Patient Services includes centralized functions to drive continuous process improvement, pharmacy compliance and forward-looking planning. This organization also includes Medical Affairs, Clinical Services, and Express Scripts Pharma Business Services subsidiary.
Serve in a lead role in the processing of mail-in prescriptions including eligibility verification, opening of orders, proofing and input while maintaining productivity and quality standards. Provide expert assistance to team members with issues needing technical expertise. Act as a liaison between data entry tech, pharmacists and customer service to resolve prescription order problems. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1.Open orders, verify patient eligibility, proof and input prescriptions while maintaining productivity and quality standards following procedures and guidelines. 2.Provide expert assistance to team members with issues needing technical expertise. 3.Provide on-the-job training for new or existing team members. 4.Mentor team to improve their understanding and skills. 5.Act as a liaison to resolve prescription order problem. 6.Assist with work plan development and work distributions for team members. 7.Identify repetitive problems or issues and recommend process improvements. 8.Actively participate in continuous improvement events. 9.Involvement in the process of hiring and interviewing DE techs positions. 10.Taking part in leadership meetings and leadership development programs as required. 11.Additional duties as assigned.
-High School Diploma, GED or equivalent experience. -1-2 years Data Entry or equivalent work experience. -Pharmacy Technician Certification preferred. -PC literacy required. -Prior experience leading others -Retail pharmacy experience helpful -Attention to detail, ability to work in face paced environment -Ability to diagnose a situation and make recommendations on how to correct -Ability to work flexible schedules
