Buhler Inc. is seeking a highly motivated professional Lead Engineering Planner and Commercial Coordinator in our Engineering Department who manages schedule and commercial aspects of capital equipment projects from engineering through plant commissioning. Basic Responsibilities: Schedule Management: Engineering, Procurement, Site Erection, Installation and Commissioning Subcontractor coordination and scheduling Claims Management (in coordination with head office commercial) Site Financial/Controller Management Inventory management Coordination of missing material or parts Assist the Site Manager with daily and weekly reporting Regular and extended Site visits (Travel approx. 50%) Required Qualifications: Bachelor Degree in Engineering Capable of optimal usage of resources (manpower, time, money, etc.), ensuring efficiency, success and therefore customer satisfaction Knowledge of Planning Software - Primavera or Microsoft Project Solid construction site coordination and management method knowledge and capability to apply Proven project planning and scheduling experience On-site construction experience Schedule reporting capabilities: Critical Path Method, resource requirements, quantity tracking and earned value Experience in claims preparation a plus Contract commercial knowledge Inventory management capability Knowledge of negotiating techniques Ability to work well in a team and under pressure Acts with foresight and is aware of the overall picture and priorities Has an ability to respond calmly to difficult situations Excellent software skills, Excel, Word, PowerPoint
