The Lead Generation Specialist serves as a primary resource for the development of qualified, strategic sales leads. This position will work closely with the Sales Team and the Marketing Department in order to identify qualified sales leads and to develop those leads into business opportunities for the Sales Team. This position requires the ability to actively identify and target new business opportunities, advise others and strategically address gaps in sales leads.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Serve as a primary resource for researching and prospecting qualified new business leads by utilizing the internet, media, referrals and other resource material in order to create lead generation.
•Responsible for identifying, contacting and tracking prospective customers.
•Qualify and generate high-quality leads for the new business development team using phone, email, direct mail and other media.
•Identify strategic buying influencers for prospect clients.
•Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the NTTA portfolio of services and its value to develop potential leads to the next stage of the sales cycle.
•Ensure Enterprise value of balancing speed, quality and ROI in creation of ideas and initiatives to improve lead-generation team performance
•Assist in development of integrated lead-generation process and programs.
•Serve as an informed resource for lead-generation.
•Schedule appointments and web demonstrations for the Sales Executives.
•Ability to maintain discretion working with confidential information.
EXPERIENCE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
•1+ year(s) experience in sales, marketing, research or related field.
•Strong MS Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel) Skills.
•Strong Customer Service, Communication and Presentation skills.
•Ability to quickly learn and apply best-practice sales and sales training techniques.
•Must work well under time constraints and deadlines. Requires a high level of commitment, accountability, and flexibility to handle last minute requests and changes.
•Ability to think creatively.
•Knowledge of the Information Technology Industry a plus.
•Bachelor’s Degree with emphasis in Business, Marketing, Communications or a related field preferred.
