JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: To establish a high degree of excellency in the Housekeeping Department to include all assigned areas of the Hotel, specifically concerned with Room Attendants, Floor Supervisors, Public Area Attendants and Laundry Attendants In the absence of the Housekeeping Manager, Lead Housekeeping Supervisor will operate the Housekeeping Department and all other areas of responsibility. Ensure that all reports are prepared completely and promptly. Ensure that assigned areas are properly cleaned daily. Be specifically responsible for the standards of all Guest rooms, suites, corridors, back- of-the-house storage and linen rooms. Ensure Front-of-the-House public area standards are excellent at all times. Ensure all Supervisors continually inspect assigned areas and have turned in inspections as needed Ensure effective and complete training is in use and all associates are well trained. Ensure proper key controls are in effect. Take accurate linen inventories per SOP. Assist with taking an accurate Guest supply inventory every period. Review out-of-order rooms daily. Give immediate response to all Guest problems and correspondence. Ensure lost & found articles are stored properly and logs are maintained. Any and all assignments by the Housekeeping Manager or Hotel Manager must be followed through. Maintain division goals in relation to accident prevention, safety and fire prevention and associate awareness.
