span Modis is currently seeking a Senior MSSQL BI Developer for an excellent contract to hire job with our top Financial client located in Westmont, IL. br   br The MIS Architect/Technical Manager will serve as the lead resource and SME for architecting, developing, and delivering high performing reporting and analytics solutions using Microsoft SSRS, SSAS OLAP cubes, and .Net following industry best practices. br   br B Job Description: /B br The ideal candidate must have experience designing, architecting, and delivering SSRS reports and SSAS cubes(dimensions, facts, members, calculations, etc…). In depth knowledge of MDX query language. In addition, this person has experience creating and working with complex database schemas. This position will utilize SQL Stored Procedures and other ETL techniques for data migration and transformation from Oracle, PeopleSoft, and other SQL Server extracts to MIS’ SQL Server data warehouse/mart. Ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of SSRS, SSAS, and dimensional modeling to leverage this data to create solutions that present data through reports, dashboards, scorecards, and KPI's. br B   /B br B Primary Responsibilities /B br • Technical architect and individual contributor with the ability to lead a team of Sr and Jr Analysts and medium to large sized projects br • Able to communicate at a very effective and high-level with managers, Sr managers, and executives br • Create relational and multi-dimensional data models for historical and operational reporting purposes br • Architect robust and easily maintainable reporting, dashboarding, scorecarding, and web application solutions br • Be the lead developer for most SQL Server BI and .Net solutions br • Provide technical guidance and be a mentor to other analysts br • Partner with Technology leaders to drive a strategic data quality, sourcing, and metrics development agenda br • May manage other analysts in the US and offshore for projects. br • May work with Finance and Operations to develop forecasts and capacity models. br • Work with the other Project Managers to ensure assigned milestones are delivered on time, within budget, and it meets or exceeds expectations. br • Follow all quality assurance processes, including periodic reviews and transitions and ensures the end product fulfills the project objectives. br • Prepare Training Material and User Manuals in cooperation with the Business Unit SME br • Assist on other projects as needed, perform other related duties and special projects as required br • Demonstrate professional behavior and teamwork, is punctual, dependable and adheres to company policies and procedures br • Efficient work style with attention to detail and a strong sense of urgency. br • Evidence the ability to work with all levels of management. br • Monitor and report any gaps or risks to decrease or avoid any potential losses br • Accepts other duties as assigned by MIS Manager br • Ability to multi-task more than one assigned project br • Collaborate with management and staff in the development and implementation of all projects and/or initiatives related to operational goals and/or process improvement directives. br   br B Qualifications /B br • 10+ years of experience, preferably across diverse Finance/MIS/Analytical and Operations Management roles.  Proven history of delivering timely, high quality, senior manager-level reporting and analysis from diverse, complex data sources br • Expe
