JOB DESCRIPTIONResponsibilities:The Lead Web Analytics Consultant is responsible for managing a team of web analysts that measure, collect, analyze, and report on internet data. The purpose of these web analytics and optimization activities is to achieve business goals and drive web analytics strategies The incumbent will be accountable for identifying, measuring and monitoring key performance indicators for and to develop data-driven recommendations that drive site design/evolution and continuous conversion improvement. Lead Web Analytics Consultant will proactively identify opportunities and provide actionable recommendations based on building data dashboards (leveraging site analytics tools like Omniture, Coremetrics and Google Analytics, running segmentation analyses, click path analyses, customer analyses, online marketing analyses, and designing/executing A/B tests.
This position will be responsible for reporting and analyzing website data to optimize acquisition, engagement, conversion and retention efforts. Lead Web Analytics Consultant will possess excellent cross-functional collaboration skills, the ability to appropriately manage competing priorities amongst key stakeholders, and a relentless commitment to an exceptional customer experience in the digital space. Qualifications:Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and 7 years related experience Other Information:This role will help make digital marketing budget decisions, drive spend efficiencies across digital portfolio and help improve customer file metrics. Lead Web Analytics Consultant is responsible for data integration and modeling with the existing provider, recommends and sells changes to internal clients and is instrumental in timely and flawless execution of the tests and changes recommended. This role will drive change management in a high pace environment using their analytical skills and deep expertise in digital marketing and modeling. Ideal candidate has ability to navigate complex organizational landscape, ambitious and has experience in an ecommerce environment.
Create and oversee the data analytics vision, strategy and operational requirements Work with internal stakeholders to gain consensus around the selected approach Own strategic relationship with the attribution provider Drive incremental improvements in the model to gain incremental sales and profit Leverage findings from media mix and attribution modeling to improve spend efficiencies, spend effectiveness and customer file metrics Recommend and drive testing strategy across digital portfolio. Report results to senior leadership as part of the regular, ongoing reporting cadence Drive on-going improvements in customer match rate with the 3rd party data provider Manage (fractional attribution) program operationalization throughout the organization Manage all aspects of campaign tracking both digital and omni. Work with stakeholders to define areas of risk, and propose alternative approaches where appropriate Partner with marketing managers to measure campaign performance Help build a Demand forecasting capability that can be used by merchandising category team members and marketing Build and deploy automated marketing analytics dashboards and reports with KPI's, based on input from key stakeholders, to support daily data-driven business decisions Develop scalable, innovative approaches to extracting, managing and analyzing data; Work with appropriate teams to ensure accurate data capture and integrity Work with 3rd party vendors, analytics providers, reporting and media agencies Perform data extraction, analysis and QC using SQL, SAS or R BA/BS in Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Marketing or Economics (MBA is a plus) 4-5 years' experience in business/marketing analytics function High proficiency with SQL, MS Access, MS Excel, Google Analytics, Coremetrics IBM, Adobe, Tableau, Teradata, R a plus Experience with statistical analysis and building statistical/economic models (e.g., regression, experiment design, hypothesis testing) Knowledge of marketing mix analysis, fractional / probabilistic attribution Expertise and knowledge in testing methodologies such as A/B and MVT Understanding of data management and warehousing Exceptional organizational, communication and project management skills Experience in retail, ecommerce and agency environments a plus Ability to tackle challenging problems autonomously with positive attitude in a fast-paced environment Proactive with the ability to work independently on multiple assigned projects with limited supervision Pay, Benefits and Work Schedule:Office Depot offers competitive salaries, a benefits package, which includes a 401(k) and more, along with plenty of opportunity to move and grow within our organization!
