JOB DESCRIPTIONAPPLY Seeking experienced Manufacturing Engineer with background in a low volume, high-turnover manufacturing environment for custom machinery, or similar to design and implement operational, safety and financial benefits and drive Continuous Improvement processes.
*** 6+ years of experience and progressive career path and operational experience in manufacturing, quality, engineering or project management.
*** Leadership track record demonstrating ability to gain support of other managers and staff to implement change without direct supervisory control.
*** Track record initiating and managing continuous process improvement measures in a built-to-order manufacturing environment.
*** Formal Lean Six Sigma training and track record implementing, improving, and maintaining manufacturing and quality processes using Six Sigma methodologies in a built to order, high diversity parts manufacturing environment.
*** Experience working with design engineers and fabrication engineers to design, test, evaluate, and implement new production and assembly processes for custom-built machinery.
*** Experience initiating and managing quality audits from supplier through finished product.
*** Ability to conduct process capability and Gage R&R (Repeatability and Reproducibility) studies.
