Saint Alphonsus is seeking a Lean and Six Sigma Advisor to provide leadership and support in our efforts to stabilize, standardize, simplify and sustain Process Operations across the Saint Alphonsus Health System (SAHS) - which extends throughout southwest Idaho and eastern Oregon.
This person provides seasoned and expert guidance to the leaders of SAHS in the overall strategy, understanding, and deployment of LEAN, Six Sigma, and Process Simulation.
In addition, he/she fosters and supports employees in ongoing learning and collaboration, so they may develop the operational decision making skills necessary to redesign patient care processes and ensure cohesive connection.
Development, training and mentorship on these methodologies will have a heavy focus on Lean, Change Acceleration, Rapid Process Improvement, Six Sigma, and Labor Productivity Management.
This person is heavily involved in the standardization of operations across the Region, and will work with people from clinical, non-clinical, administrative, hospital, and clinic-based areas.
Bachelor's degree in IndustrialEngineering, Business or Health Administration or related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Master's Degree is preferred.
5 to 7years of previous experience in driving lean transformational efforts that resulted in sustained, on-going process improvement and culture change.
An understanding of the unique culture of healthcare is desirable for quick assimilation as well as clinical improvement related work experience.
Communication skills are critical - must be articulate and able to communicate with employees at all levels across the organization, from front-line worker to executives
