JOB DESCRIPTIONA reputable Law Firm has an immediate need for an experience Legal Secretary.
Essential Position Responsibilities:
? Proficiency in MS Word 2007
? Calendaring all deadlines and meetings for associates and partners
? High level of comfort in preparing, editing and proofing of all memo, letters, and pleadings
? Prepare and/or file final legal documents, including e-filings
? Preparing audit response letters
? Other miscellaneous duties as needed
? Minimum 3 years secretary experience in a law firm environment
? Substantive knowledge of litigation terminology and current court rules and procedures
? Excellent computer skills including MS Office Suite
? Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong attention to detail
? The ability to prioritize and organize multiple tasks in fast paced/high pressure working environment and the availability to work overtime as needed
