Waste Pro USA, Inc, is seeking to hire a skilled Level B Truck Mechanic for our Sarasota / Bradenton Florida Operation. The pay range for this position is $19 - $22 and hour. We also offer a three part $1500 retention incenitve paid out in 90 day increments. Our benefits package includes Health, Dental, Life and Vision insurance, a 401k plan and PTO.

We offer all technicians the opportunity for additional training to improve their skills and acheive Level A and ASE Master Tech status and receive commensurate pay increases.

Our trucks are late model, state of the art and our shop is clean, well organized and provides an excellent work environment.

A Level B Technician may be assigned the following duties:

* Diagnoses mechanical problems and performs repairs and maintenance on all equipment to maximize safe and productive operations. Reviews and completes repairs identified on DVIR (Driver Vehicle Inspection Report) and/or repair orders.
* Communication with managers/drivers as to issues with vehicles and discusses preventive techniques that minimize future repairs.
* Completes all required paperwork in a timely and concise manner.
* Follows all safety policies and procedures
* Maintains a clean, safe work area in compliance with corporate and OSHA standards.
* Utilizes vehicle computer electronics systems to interpret failure modes to initiate or assign repairs.
* Conducts safety checks on vehicles and equipment.
* Conducts repairs utilizing Factory Service Manuals.
* Conducts safety checks on vehicles and equipment.
* Performs all other duties as assigned.
* Maintain high standard of Ethics and Dependability

Hourly rate commensurate with proven skills/experience and capability. ($18-$22/hr)

Knowledge and ability to diagnose and repair engine, transmission, brake, suspension , electrical , hydraulic, body components and systems related to heavy duty and light duty trucks. This may include gasoline, diesel and CNG systems. Knowledge toools necessary to complete repair. May include welding and fabrication.
