SmartSource is in need of (2) Level 2 Desk Side Apple Support Technicians in Sunnyvale, CA.

Must have these required certifications:
* CompTIA: A+ Certification
* Apple: ACMT (Apple Certified MAC Technician)

Job Type: 1 year contract, with long term contract extensions.
Location: Sunnyvale, CA 94086
Start Date: ASAP
Hours: Normal business hours. 40 hours per week. (Mon - Fri)
Hourly Rate: $25/ hour


Job Summary:
The Level 2 Desk Side Apple Support Technician is a senior level position that performs tasks related to the repair of a variety of technology-based products typically associated in an end-user computing environment.
Perform basic, moderate, and complex troubleshooting and repair activities.

Responsibilities:
. Perform basic, moderate, and complex troubleshooting and break/fix repair on technology-based products typically associated in a corporate, end-user environment
. Respond to change management requests including installing new PC equipment, providing end-user desk side support, video conference room support, data center/server support, VIP support and other related activities
. Perform Install/Move/Add or Change (IMAC) activities at a complex level
. Perform all assigned desk-side support activities.
. Support video conference room equipment
. Provide smart-hand services on network/server devices typically found in data centers
. Provide support to client identified VIPs
. Display outstanding technical and professional services skills at all times
. Meets established customer service satisfaction levels and other operational/customer service metrics as outlined in established guidelines
. Proactively communicate with the end-user and service desk personnel regarding arrival times, repair time estimates and status of the repair
. Understands and follows all documented service operations policies and procedures.

Requirements
Education and Experience:
. Typically requires technical school certification or equivalent of 4-7 years of relevant experience

Certifications and/or Qualifications:
. Maintain all required OEM Certifications as directed by Management
. Knowledge of relevant software and hardware systems
. Understanding of ITIL methodologies a plus
. A+ / Network + certifications are desired
. May require additional customer-specific certifications or training as required

Skills:
. Excellence in communication and customer-facing skills
. Strong oral, written and interpersonal skills
. Ability to independently follow directions and processes
. Ability to lift and or move various computer equipment up to 50 lbs.
. Ability to pass drug screen and background check, education and employment verification at time of hire
. Must own a basic repair kit
