Currently looking for licensed insurance agents (2-15 or 2-14) for the Open Enrollment period of a Fortune 500 health insurance company. This is a telephonic sales position, with at least two years of sales experience required. Must be willing to work overtime and be flexible with shifts. Possible temp-to-hire opportunity with $18.00 hourly base pay plus bonuses.

The use of this job is limited to the Medicare (Green/L-AGP) business unit. Responsible for telephonically selling Medicare Amerigroup and DSNP membership products and setting appointments for Medicare field sales membership visits and presentations, as well as providing high level customer service. Primary duties may include, but are not limited to: Ensures sales and appointments goals are met. Sells and presents company products in a professional and consultative manner. Provides thorough and effective customer service. Provides timely and accurate responses to all customers. Provides customers with oral and written information as well as a detailed quote on the company plans and services. Maintains comprehensive working knowledge of all company products and services. Studies competitive products and related industry issues and maintains a personal awareness of competitive advantages and disadvantages. Optimizes closing and qualified appointment setting opportunities utilizing all sales tools and skills available. Completes accurate documentation, maintains records and updates database documentation of all activities during the sales cycle. Requires a high school diploma; 2 years of sales experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. Excellent Communication skills, both written and oral. Requires and must maintain appropriate license required by the Department of Insurance to sell Medical, Dental and Life products in all states served by the Company's Direct Sales. Job Experience:

Must be able to work varied shifts, with overtime, we operate 7 days a week, 8am to 11pm. Includes Evenings, Weekends, and Day Shifts on rotation. We try to standardize schedules as much as possible, but there will be a need to be flexible.
