* This position can be based at either our Redondo Beach, Rancho Bernardo, or Palmdale, CA locations\.Engineering Competitive Analysis and Tools \(ECAT\) Center of Excellence \(CoE\) is seeking a Life Cycle Cost Engineer to support the a key programs in Southern California\. This engineer would support a variety of programs in multiple domains such as manned air, unmanned air, and/or space\. This position is responsible for performing Life Cycle Cost \(LCC\), Design to Cost \(DTC\), Cost as an Independent Variable \(CAIV\) and Cost Reduction Initiative \(CRI\) analysis\. Analytical tools/approaches leveraged include commercial/Gov't parametric models, such as PRICE and SEER as well as custom developed parametrics determining correlation between operational or technical requirements and cost\. The position requires experience developing complex cost models using advanced cost estimating techniques as well as excellent interpersonal skills required to solicit input, synthesize data, and communicate results to various levels of leadership\. The analysis performed is done in a non\-advocacy manner representing the organization as an 'honest broker' providing actionable cost analysis to decision makers\.

* Basic Qualifications:

* -BS Degree in a STEM major- Must have at least 5 years of experience \(3 years with a Master's Degree\) in data analysis and reporting results\.-Experienced in working with Program POCs / IPT Leads to define, plan, execute and track performance of an assigned SOW- Regular verbal and written communication \(up, down, peers\) of progress, status and to advocating for ECA engagement at Senior Leadership levels-Active DoD Secret clearance is required

* -MS/MBA Degree-Experience in developing Life Cycle Cost \(LCC\) Analyses, Cost Effectiveness Analysis, DTC Target development for complex systems using advanced cost prediction methods like probabilistic parametric analysis-Experience in defining and/or analyzing the feasibility & return on investment \(ROI\) of Cost Reduction Initiatives \(CRI\)-Proven successful track record of seeking out and working with potential new internal customers to win new business/assignments-Active DoD TS or SCI clearance with a recent background investigation\.Northrop Grumman is committed to hiring and retaining a diverse workforce\.
