Life Cycle Engineering is currently seeking an experienced Life Cycle Management Analyst to join our growing Federal Solutions Group (FSG) team in Norfolk, VA. Please find the position details below and additional details about our company, culture and benefits at the bottom of this post.

Life Cycle Management Analyst (mid-level)
The Life Cycle Management Analyst will provide technical, management and administrative support to the Carrier Planning Activity, System Specialist Group (CPA/C22). The successful candidate will participate in conferences or discussions, including engineering problem solving conferences and discussions with engineers, engineering technicians, and representatives from Fleet Forces Command (FFC), PEO Carriers, Type Commanders, NAVSEA, private and public shipyards, Lead Design Yard (LDY), Propulsion Plant Playing Yard (PPPY), Reactor Plant Planning Yard (RPPY), Propulsion Plant Engineering Activity (PPEA), ISEAs, SUPSHIPs, RMCs and other Navy field activities as required.

Contract Specifications:

* Must be a US citizen with the ability to obtain/maintain a DoD Secret security clearance

Task Knowledge Requirements/Required Skills:

* Support the development, maintenance and continuous refinement of the CVN68 and CVN78 CMPs

* Identify, track and bring visibility to cost savings, cost avoidances and cost increases that affect the operating and support (O&S) costs of aircraft carriers

* Review Cost Benefit Analyses (CBAs) for proposed initiatives that may impact maintenance costs

* Support the revision and validation of the Aircraft Carrier Expanded Ship's Work Breakdown Structure (ESWBS) manual

* Support the development of the Aircraft Carrier Class Maintenance Plan (ACCMP) manual

* Support the development of the Technical Foundation Paper (TFP) and other documentation to support the Program Objective Memorandum (POM) submittal

* Analyze maintenance and cost (labor and materials) data for Aircraft Carrier availabilities and submit finding for evaluation and action.

Education & Experience:

* Applicant must have a minimum of 5 years' experience with Navy and Aircraft Carrier support.
