The Garden City Hotel, a Long Island landmark since 1874, has a career opportunity available for an experienced Line Cook. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, planning, prep, set up and provide quality service in all areas of food production for menu items and specials in designated outlets in accordance with standards and plating guide specifications. Must be able to read and follow menus and recipes. Visually inspect, select, and utilize only food items of the highest quality in the preparation of menu items. Perform other tasks as assigned by the Executive and Sous Chefs. Maintain organization, cleanliness and sanitation of work areas and equipment.
