JOB DESCRIPTIONWe are currently hiring for a qualified loan officer assistant. The LOA is responsible for preparing and processing loan documentation on consumer and real estate loans using the bank?s loan processing system. In addition, the loan processor provides excellent customer service to loan officers and customers by responding to loan documentation requests in a timely manner.
Loan Officer Assistant Responsibilities
? Review loan application to determine the completeness of all documents and verify the borrower?s qualification for specified loan product.
? Advise loan officer of any deficiencies or missing documentation.
? Work with escrow to obtain all items necessary for disclosure (e.g. estimated HUD, preliminary title report, closing protection letter and wire instructions).
? Prepare GFE, TIL, fee worksheet and all disclosures, orders appraisal and run credit.
? Package and submit complete files to operations through Encompass program.
? Upon receipt of loan approval, works with the loan officer, loan coordinator, and escrow officer to clear all prior to doc conditions and funding conditions.
? Prepares docs requests and submits to loan coordinator.
? Arrange signing for borrower with escrow officer.
? Work with funder, loan officer and escrow officer to clear funding conditions.
? Manage and operate all functions of a fully-staffed retail mortgage operation such as inventory, calendars, incoming and outgoing and phone calls.
? Maintain branch pipeline management and reporting to all loan officers, keeping close track of all file progress with processor team
? Office cleanliness and presentation maintenance
? Maintain all recurring billing
? Working with corporate office to assist with new hire, licensing, and complete onboarding process, once cleared by manager.
? Marketing: open house flyers, signs, branding, establishing full social media and online presence and maintaining presence with instructions and leadership from manager (corporate marketing assistance is available).
? Arrange closing appointments and ?Thank you? cards for clients.
? Managing all branch events.
? Minimum 3 years mortgage loan office experience.
? Ability to work collaboratively with others.
? Excellent communication skills.
? Strong customer service skills.
? Ability to use deductive reasoning
? Bilingual in Spanish desired
