Job Description

Adecco has an immediate opening for a Mortgage Loan Processor for one of our clients located in North Providence. This position is responsible for handling walk in mortgage business not driven by sales efforts of the mortgage lending specialist and for supporting the sales volume of the mortgage lending specialist position. The Mortgage Loan Process is responsible for performing essential job functions in a manner that is professional, efficient and in full compliance with regulations. This is a temporary assignment lasting 30 - 60 days.

Job functions:
*Offers loan products for the customer's needs and circumstances and assists customers in completing loan applications, enters application data
*Pre-qualifies new applicants for loans
*Prepares and mails early disclosure packages
*Notifies customers of disposition of application and forms required to complete loan, including adverse action notices
*Assists customer in resolving issues/problems
*Obtains and reviews all support documentation requires for disposition
*Orders and tracks title and appraisal orders
*Ensures final stages of closings are in order
*Actively cross-sells related and appropriate bank products
*Maintain relationships and favorable contacts with current and potential customers

Job requirements:
*Must have thorough working knowledge of company guidelines and policies as well as all applicable laws and regulations related to mortgage lending in order to ensure compliance. Must stay informed and abreast of all industry trends and regulations
*4 yrs exp in the mortgage industry with at least 2 yrs as a processor
*Strong analytical skills along with excellent sales and relationship building skills
*Excellent oral and written skills and working knowledge of Windows, Word and Excel
