Newsday Media Group is currently looking for talented and dynamic sales account executive who is an aggressive go-getter with a proven ability to close business for our Local Retail Advertising team. The successful candidate will manage and grow revenue clients within an assigned territory and look to aggressively develop new business. Additionally, the account executive will canvass various retail businesses to establish potential leads, making daily cold calls, and conduct needs based advertising sales meetings. The ability to execute concise presentations, negotiate competitive rates and close clients is paramount. *Associates or Bachelor s degree preferred.
*Three years of demonstrated sales experience.
*Strong organization, communication and listening skills required to identify business owner s needs and develop successful advertising campaigns.
*A proven track record in cold calling, prospecting, developing new business and closing the sale.
*Must possess strong relationship building skills with a positive can-do attitude to drive sales and succeed!
