As a DICK'S Sporting Goods Lodge Sales Manager you will be responsible for achieving Company objectives in sales performance, profit contribution and profit and loss control by managing the sales aspects of the lodge department.
Essential functions of this position include:
* Ensuring that all Company policies, Federal ATF regulations and any applicable state or local regulations are followed in the sale and transfer of firearms
* Training of the store management team and lodge associates on the regulations and policies
* Maintaining accurate record of guns on hand, guns received and guns sold
* Developing schedules for the lodge departments and monitoring payroll on a daily basis to ensure payroll plans are met
* Driving sales by creating a competitive and profitable work environment that is committed to maximizing sales, minimizing costs and achieving Company objectives
* Upholding Company standards for merchandise presentation by following established floor sets, signing requirements, price changes, recovery, replenishment, etc.
* Participating in the recruiting, interviewing and hiring for hourly associates in the lodge area
* Issuing appropriate counseling and disciplinary action to those associates who fail to meet our performance standards

Success Profile
* Excellent customer service skills and interpersonal/communication skills
* Strong problem solving ability and analytical skills
* Good attention to detail
* Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays
* Ability to meet Federal requirements for handling and processing firearm transactions
* Proficiency in MSOffice
* 3- 5 years of retail or related management experience
