Analyzing the ship's Planned Maintenance System (PMS) supply requirements to correct outfitting shortfalls and excess for PMS material items and providing recommendations for approval of allowance change reports.
Providing management and analysis of the Coordinated Shipboard Allowance List (COSAL), reviewing COSAL products, and assuring configuration control of the Allowance Equipage List (AEL) baseline for installed equipment.
Assisting with the analysis and management of the INCO program.
Analyzing moderately complex contractual documents, technical data, customer usage data, customer maintenance practices, customer operation characteristics, and related reports.
Developing logistics plans for facilities, personnel, equipment, spares, and maintenance and assisting in the development of policies, guidelines, and procedures to ensure quality and cost control.
Assessing and recommending the feasibility of proposed approaches to solve moderately complex problems.
Preparing and presenting reports, studies, cost analyses, and briefings to staff and customers.
Participating in technical discussions at project review sessions and in negotiations with the customer.
Identifying and resolving logistics issues and researching logistics technology advances and applying appropriate technology in order to improve logistics processes.
Performing additional duties as assigned.
Education, Work Experience, Skills and Clearance Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in related discipline and at least two (2) years of relevant experience. Educational requirements may be adjusted for more than 7 years of applicable work experience. Years of experience requirements may be adjusted for highly specialized knowledge or uniquely applicable experience for positions involving new technology or targeted skill sets.
Experience with Navy logistics.
Proficiency in MS Office products.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance verifiable in JPAS.
Experience with INCO, COSAL, and PMS.
