Position Summary

The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for providing logistical support to the Field Service department. Duties include communication with Field Service Engineers, Supervisors and Managers, dispatching of materials, CRM/SAP/Microsoft Excel reporting and analysis, inventory control and excellent customer service skills.

Logistics Essential Duties and Responsibilities

-Manage logistics, shipping, inventory and customer service for the company.
-Establish a working relationship with our Field Service Engineers to resolve any issues on daily basis.
-Coordinate between sales, manufacturing, external vendors, logistics and warehouse teams to ensure smooth communications and operations
-Accountable for coordinating and ensuring that all equipment and/or materials needs are met and commitments are delivered to job sites/remote warehouses.
-After Sales Service ? track & manage all customer service requests such as returns, repairs and general inquiries.
-Inventory Tracking - Maintains service parts, tools and equipment inventories, including reordering and shipping items as needed.
-Archives and maintains field service database, including customer data, service reports and commissioning reports.
-Coordinates data entry including CRM parts entry, overview and ticket handling.
-Actively participate in process flow documentation and standard operating procedures and identify opportunities for improvement based on internal and external needs.

Inventory and Cost Analysis Essential Duties and Responsibilities

-Analyze and forecast product costs, spending, absorption, inventory, reserves, and service variances.
-Complete monthly actual service cost worksheets and analysis for use in controlling expenditures.
-Participate in the performance of the annual physical inventory and subsequent
reconciliations.
-Review Slow Moving and No Activity inventory reports for potential write offs. Ensure unsaleable and discontinued items are disposed of, written off or reserved for as appropriate.
-Make estimates of new and proposed product/service costs or prepare cost estimates for new products and product changes.

Education and Experience

An associates degree is required.
