JOB DESCRIPTIONWe are looking for an enthusiastic Transportation Manager/ Executive for one of the largest Import and Export and third party logistics companies in Southern Arizona. We are targeting well-rounded Logistics experienced candidates that want to take their leadership to the next level.
Schedule: 40 Hours per week, Monday - Friday with occasional Saturdays
This will be in addition to bonuses for meeting sales goals
The Executive of transportation will manage sales and marketing, and delegates dispatching, routing, and tracking multiple lines of transportation to ensure that the work is accomplished in a manner consistent with companies and clients procedures, goals, and objectives. In addition to resolving customers complaints.
Direct procurement processes, vendor contracts, and requisitions approval. Negotiates sales contracts with current client for renewals, retention and monitors fulfillment.
Mentor and develops employees by encouraging mutual trust, respect, and cooperation among team members.
Makes decision and judges by considering costs of potential actions and consequences.
Transportation -- Organizing, planning, and time management prioritizing work to make decisions and solving problems. Knowledge of methods for moving people or goods by air, rail, sea, or road, including the relative costs and benefits.
Customer Service -- Communicating with other Manager, Subordinates, and persons outside Organization. Customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
Management --Must have experience in managing 20+ people as a direct Supervisor within the organization. In additions to proven knowledge principles involving in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people. Provides consultation, advises, mentors and motivating Subordinates.
Bilingual - English/Spanish is a MUST
