Global VISA and Relocation Specifications:
Manage department activities to support achievement of Plant and Sector for NCSF. Provide mill leadership for Safety, Cost, Corporate Ethics (Internal Controls), and Customer Service with strong involvement in Asset Management. This position is responsible for providing day-to-day management and leadership to the Warehouse, Stores and Security teams including objective setting, recruitment, coaching, training and development along with oversight of financial activities.
Provide leadership for the operating activities of the NCSF Logistics, Security & Stores teams including achievement of plant objectives in the areas of safety, customer service, materials handling, purchasing, housekeeping, and internal control. Coordinate communication to centralized production and materials planning for NCSF to achieve optimal customer service while maintaining efficient operating schedules and adhering to inventory management objectives. Serve as site ERP lead in support of attaining enterprise SAP benefits.
The Logistics and Finance Team Leader reports to the Plant Manager of NCSF and is responsible for coordinating the Security, Stores, Logistics and Financial activities of the Plant to ensure efficient operations, optimal customer service, and effective reporting and control systems. The incumbent provides direction to the Financial and Warehouse teams and provides support to the Operating teams in resolving Logistics issues. This person will provide mill direction to the purchasing resource and will have overall site security responsibility. This position typically coordinates facility planning activities in a multi-sector facility.
The incumbent is also an active contributor to several Plant and Staff teams and serves as a source of senior business support for the achievement of Plant and Sector business objectives.
CUSTOMERS AND CUSTOMER EXPECTATION
Key customers include Plant Management, Administrative and Staff Business Analysis teams, Operations, Materials Handling, Purchasing, Engineering, Quality, Transportation, Maintenance, Staff Planning, and Staff Distribution, Global Security and Central Stores.
Other customers expect timely and accurate cost analysis, forecasting for budgeting and plant and equipment management and counsel to support sound business and financial decisions. The incumbent is also expected to lead the Plant's efforts in ensuring a strong internal control plan.
* Properly manage materials handling equipment and personnel, warehouse space, materials flow, and inventories.
* Ensure product delivery to enable optimal customer service, while minimizing inventories.
* Provide functional/technical communication to the centralized Planning team.
* Coordinate removal of waste that minimizes landfill and meets Environmental and Energy guidelines.
* Lead the Materials Handling team in the implementation and sustaining of the POLARIS Best Practices.
Implement loss control throughout the organization by visibly demonstrating that safety is embraced as a value. Develop and maintain safety systems in accordance with K-C loss control management and lead their groups to complete safety objectives and ensure a safe and productive work environment. Create and support the environment that removes barriers to success. Follow the Safety Roles and Responsibilities Matrix by holding yourself and all team members accountable to its tenets. Fully comply with corporate loss management policies as well as government safety and health regulations. Support Corporate Drug and Alcohol efforts by working with their management team to deal with issues as they arise.
Provide solid business advice to the plant teams to help drive toward a cost advantaged manufacturing position. Benchmarking, aggressively managing fixed costs, encouraging a FORCE mentality and providing accurate analysis are all key methods to improve plant business results. Help set mill vision in various areas as part of the Site Development Plan.
Provide leadership to materials handlers and administrative personnel to ensure proper priorities, resource allocation and objectives, and coordinate efforts of multi-functional areas to ensure materials handling and warehousing issues are resolved in a timely and orderly manner.
Ensure that plant financial results are reported in a manner that is timely, accurate, and consistent with corporate policies and generally accepted accounting principles. This encompasses having accurate manufacturing costs, working with Knoxville to ensure proper accounting occurs and balance sheet items (i.e., inventories) are properly stated.
Support business growth opportunities through capital projects analysis and evaluation.
Serve as site ERP leader to optimize enterprise benefits of SAP system implementation.
Ensure that internal control policies, instructions and procedures are understood and complied with in the performance of responsibilities within the teams.
Maintain and implement, where appropriate, knowledge of new developments in production planning, warehousing, materials handling and inventory control techniques and recommend changes that will improve each of these areas.
Provide leadership to ensure the Feminine and Adult Care organization attracts, develops, and retains the best people and fosters an environment which motivates a diverse team to fully use its capabilities in achieving desired business results.

QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
* A bachelor's degree in Finance, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field
* Strong finance or logistics competence in the areas of business strategy, risk management, internal controls, planning and cost analysis as well as an understanding of Plant operations is required.
* The incumbet must have strong interpersonal skills necessary to train, direct, motivate and develop deputies as well as maintain a strong working relationship within the Plant Management team.
* The ability to communicate effectively at all levels within the organization.
* Educational requirements can be met by an undergraduate degree with a background in professional business subjects.
* Candidate has 5-7 years of finance experience
* Previous leadership experience
